Assassin't

A game frantically made over the course of 48 hours for the 2023 GMTK Game Jam by a solo dev who put his coffee maker through hell over the last two days. We salute you Mr. Coffee!

A homage to the sniper flash games of old that kept me endlessly entertained through elementary school... with a twist.

Can you lead the targets of a deadly assassin to the escape? Can you deny the sniper his prize? Will you become... the assassin't?

Lead 5 targets to safety before they meet an untimely fate by a sniper assassin. Avoid the gaze of his crosshairs, command the targets to run if they're in his sights, or pray he misses his shot!

Controls:

</> or z/x : Swap control to different targets. Keep in mind though, your targets will continue to follow your command even after you switch away from them!

L/R arrows or A/D: Command a target to run left or right. Double press to tell them to break into a sprint.

Up arrow or W: If standing in front of a lamp, hide and avoid the sniper's gaze.

Down arrow or S: The target will stop dead in their tracks if running or come out of hiding if hidden.

ESC: Close the game.

Known issues:

- Animation isn't playing for the targets during run/walk.

- Hide Sprite isn't displaying for lamps that are hiding a target.
